Interested in getting involved?
It's not a major commitment unless you want it to be. Joining our calling/ email list simply means that we will inform you of upcoming service opportunities at MU, call out to you to assist with/ attend any struggling projects we know of around campus, or contact you to respond to any local crises that arise (i.e. shoveling the snow of known disabled members of our local community after a storm). Although we expect an answer to our calls, there is no pressure for your participation: honestly, only do what you can do. You may answer "no" 9 out of 10 times, but if you say "yes" even once, that makes it worth it.
To join our calling list, contact us at [email protected]. Include your name, an actively monitored email address and phone number (we will assume texting capability unless you indicate otherwise).

become an o.h.o.e. ambassador: Submit the dates of your club/ministry/organization's upcoming service projects to our CAMPUS SERVICE CALENDAR!
We can't keep up with this calendar without your help! Be sure to let us know what is going on in your MU organizations at [email protected], and mention if you'll be lacking in participants or volunteers... we might just be able to help!
Include your club/organization's name, the kind of event (ie: fundraiser, collection, drive, service activity, etc.), date/ location/ time, (transportation provided? if applicable), and if you're in need of volunteers or attendees.
How many great ideas go unnoticed or don't do as well as we know they should because nobody shows up?

If you have a really great idea for a fundraiser or project, or know of a local organization that could use the help of the campus community, but are incapable of conducting it yourself or cannot find the manpower, PLEASE don't keep it to yourself! Shoot us an email at [email protected] with the details (no matter how little you have) and an indication of whether or not you'd want to be involved in the execution of the project, and we'll see what the Misericordia community can do!
Like we said before, we are here in order to do the most good possible.
The more we communicate as a community and as a campus, the more people will benefit from our coming together.
